I take a lot of pride in putting in the time and effort to raise quality beef.

The process is just as important as the result.

Auction Steer Adventures

I am 16 years old and an 11 year 4-H member in Clallam County. I have been raising steers for the Pacific Northwest Junior Livestock Auction for the past six years. I can’t wait for this years fair, especially the Pacific Northwest Junior Livestock Auction! It is sure to be a fun time for the youth producers, the auction team, and for the supporters!

When working with cattle, every day is a new adventure. You just never know what might happen. Despite that I have a lot to be grateful for. I am truly thankful for the graces that God has provided me in being able to live on a farm. I enjoy raising steers for our own freezer and also for the Pacific Northwest Junior Livestock Auction. It feels good to know that I was able to take part in feeding someone’s family. I have several friends participating in the auction and it’s going to be a really great year with a lot of variety and options for supporters! Brace yourself for an auction like no other!

The journey of a livestock producer is filled with dedication, hard work, and a touch of fun. The auction is always a thrill for bidders and supporters new and returning! If you would like to find out more, please click the link below! You don’t want to miss out!

My 2025 Steer- Tag #127

Chuck was bred, born and raised here on our farm. He has the best mom, Belle. She is still raising the best babies at 13 years old.

At the official pre weigh in, this big boy was already over 1,000 pounds!

I often am asked how I spend my proceeds. Some of the money is used to pay for this years project costs. Some of the money is set aside for next years steer project. Any amount in excess of that is set aside for the purchase of my future pickup so I can get myself to work and school. I plan to attend running start through Peninsula College as soon as I am able. While I am still in the deciding phase for plans beyond a degree from Peninsula College, some of my interests including being a heavy machinery operator, running my own business, and of course raising livestock.

2024 Auction video:

An entire year’s worth of daily time, energy and sweat led to this moment in the auction ring. The excitement from the bidders was unforgettable! Thank you to the incredible buyers, especially The Jamestown Tribe, and all of the supporters who make these moments possible for me and all of my friends!

This is my lawn tractor that I bought for snow removal…

…and this is my lawnmower that I bought for my lawncare business.
